Was Rockingham a Thunder Storm?

Was the Rockingham weather a thunder n lightnign storm? or did i just get the wrong impression from a race report?

A few spots of rain before erm erm the porshe's i think it was, then a few spots in the last 1-2 laps of 2nd touring race, then it started a little heavier, but not too bad.

The lightning was very impressive, forks all over the place. Moved round the circuit from behind the Rockingham Building round turn 1.
They were trying to clear the top rows of the grandstand as a result.

TV cameras managed to pick up one of the bolts - with Touring Cars in the foreground.

it was quite incredible at the restart. a huge bolt of lightning went up over turn 1 as the cars went through.

Amazing seeing the lightning - but the rain came afterwards. It would be good to see any photos with the cars at the restrart and lightning in the background.
