I was going to say...with all this money that the Works Peugeot team in the WRC are getting with their sponsors...cant Peugeot UK give even a little bit of backing to VLR becasue it could make one hell of a difference!

Think it all depends whether or not they get rid of Richard Burns for next year. BTW, VLR are involved with Peugeot in a works capacity in Rallying in Britain, so it's not as if the two are strangers.

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I hope Peugeot kick out Burns. He is useless. He still isn't "at one with his Peugeot" (i think i'll be dead before he is). The 307 has hugfe potential, and Vic Lee could do with some of Peugeot's money and support!

Given their past BTCC history, I'm not sure Peugeot's money and support count for much - frankly, if the 307 can't be made competitive as an independent project, then VLR might be better off looking ofr a deal with a different manufacturer altogether.....

BTW, the 'useless' Burns is currently leading the championship- yes I know it's down to consistent point scoring rather than winning, but if he continues like that, and Gronholm's results continue to be 'all or nothing', then he could end up as champion this year.....
