Abarth Osella PA1-07

We've currently got John Crowson's PA1 chassis number 07 sat in our workshop waiting a rebuild, ive already fallen in love with it. Does anyone have any interesting stories and pictures of this car racing??

Hello, 1 simple question : how can you have the chassis n° 7 Abarth Osella PA1 in your workshop knowing I am the owner of the ORIGINAL & TRUE CHASSIS n° 7 Abarth Osella PA1 NOT RESTORED since more than 30 years ; I have of course all the numerous documents which go with it.
I'm waiting for explanations from your side.
Best regards

Hello Sir, for your info the Abarth Osella PA1 chassis n° 7 showed in the Mackmot's workshop is not the original & true one because I raced with this chassis n°7 & it's in my garage since more than 30 years and NOT RESTORED ; in 4 words I'm the owner of the real chassis n°7 and the guy who gave that chassis to restore is an usurper.

Hello

What documents do you have with your car? Can you tell me the history of your car from 1973 up to your purchase of it? Would you be willing to post some pictures?

I will be seeing John Crowson's PA1 soon and will ask more questions about its background so we can find out what's going on.

TRUE ORIGINAL ABARTH OSELLA PA1 CHASSIS 07

Hello Sir,

as said before I own the official documents from Osella, its history, the races I took part ; I'm not as naïv to communicate them to you ; if necessary I'll show them to a judge to bring the case before the courts.
A owner of Osella, Collin POOL, knows perfectly that I'm the owner of the chassis PA1 07.
A german guy Michael LIPPS who intended to claim he had the chassis PA1 07 backtracked after my intervention.
Since when your guy bought this chassis & what is its origin ?
Thanks to you to keep me informed.
If you come to Paris we can meet.
I'm collector of Abarth & I'm willing to sell some AS 1 MARCH F1
Best regards.

Daniel, I have no connection with John Crowson's PA1. It was 'Mackmot' who said he had it, not me. I run OldRacingCars.com so I don't know why you think it would be a demonstration of naivety to communicate with me.

I am building up the racing history of the Melville PA1 and would like to be able to document its full history, as I do for other 2-litre sports racing cars. For example, see:
http://www.oldracingcars.com/results...?RaceID=S27402

You can communicate with me privately at allen@oldracingcars.com if you prefer.

TRUE ORIGINAL ABARTH OSELLA PA1 CHASSIS 07

Hello Allen,

I prefer to communicate on the forum because I have nothing to hide ;
sorry for the misunderstanding, I did'nt pay attention to who was speaking.
I don't speak English & someone must translate for me.
For your info there's a COPY of Abarth Osella PA1 which was built more recently with spare parts ;
these persons named themselves this new copy 07 BIS!...
Copy belonged to Engelbert MÖLL in Switzerland.
This copy was the property of Michael LIPPS in Germany.
THEN ???
Why do you build the racing history of my PA1 07 ?
For whom, what is the goal ?
Maybe for ME !
Best regards

Hello Daniel

I'm building the racing history of every 2-litre sport racing car from that period, not just yours. Why do I do it? It's a curse! But I publish everything on oldracingcars.com so it's for everyone.

Who owned your car after Christian Melville? wsrp.ic.cz says "Piller" and then "Landi" but who were they? In Italian velocitÃ* in salita?

I always had a soft spot for Osella...even their sportscars looked to be little gems. I suppose it's nice in a way that someone thought enough of them to build up a replica.
