Lydden 8th May
I know this is a BRSCC meeting, and some of their previous events at Lydden have had very poor response (from competitors), but this year they are only running one meeting. The scheduled races include Ford Saloons(17 entries), Ford Fiestas(19 entries), Silhouette + VSR (combined with 18 entries), Formula Ford (9),Fiats (19)and Southern Saloons(10 but more expected). Practice from 9 am, lunch break 11.15 to 12.10, racing from 12.15. Eleven events scheduled to finish by 5.30 pm. Nothing clashing at Brands.

Eric will be there with the side of his car now straightened out.
Does that mean the races are amalgamated?

Yes, it is the usual problem of buying a grid (from the BRSCC) to get it down to a sensible price. The original offer was two races for £275 per competitor !!! We still need 20 cars to make this one viable, at the moment 14 have entered.

Hello!
Have you got the 20 cars you need to run this race now?
Any more idea on number of entries for each race now?
Ta!
Sally

I'm sure (or rather hoping!) that more Ford Saloon boys will be out as a few not on the list so far have said they will be there. Seems every time I go to Lydden - its raining!!
