Medeiros Tests with D&R Today
The IRL site is reporting that Thiago Medeiros, the 2004 MIPS Champ, tested with Dreyer and Reinbold today at Kentucky Motor Speedway today, and the test went well..

He turned 192 laps, did some pit stop simulations and ran on cold tires plus some full runs...

Apparently the tests went well....

Add his name to the "Silly Season" list as a possible 2nd drier with D&R...

Medeiros is good - did well in SudAm F3 and has starred this year.

Lets hope he can be a positive story for the IPS - if he does well it boosts the feeder series.

Due to engine problems, Keohane only got a very brief run in the car, but he's expected to have another test soon.

I talked to some of the mechanics over there and he was lacking in giving feedback according to them. They said that his attention span was not very long. I don't know about a further test. I'll ask next weekend if he's scheduled for another one.

I hope Michael gets another chance. You can't realistically expect a driver without oval experience to offer much immediately in teh way of feedback. This may be one of those situations where he could be a better chocie than Thiago even if he's not quite as fast, because he has more to learn.
