i was just wanting to know if any of are marshall had the x factor without bowing there own trumpit in marshalling

Have to confess to being a Black X, but I'll tell you what, this is just the sort of question you get asked when you are Clerk of the Course. My reply of course is: "Go and ask the Chief Marshal"
