A Dutch Canadian F1 team? What F1 websites will do to get visitors...

I thought this was worth a mention as it shows some of the lengths Formula 1 sites will go to to get views.
Have any of you seen similar 'stories' where you know it's just to get people to look?

Holland and Canada only produce so many htis because of their respective JVs and their fanbases. The major nations as far as general F1 interest is concerned seem to be Itlay, the UK, Japan and Australia.

Actually Boots, despite the Aussie presence here, and our own GP, F1 is still in the minors as far as sport in Australia goes (probably why we frequent this British one  )

This ‘story’ was Joe Saward of Grand Prix com having a bit of fun, and a dig at the opposition.
If you go to the ‘newsnow’ F1 feed website you will see that they have a feature showing the top stories, which is the story that has attracted the most hits over the recent past.
Another website were running a pretty lame story with a Canadian/Dutch connection in the headline. It was the most read story on newsnow.
Grand Prix then ran their spoof story, and lo and behold, the other website pulled their story……maybe they were embarrassed!
Some website sure do have some pretty misleading headlines….anything to get the hits I guess.
