nsxr should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Weight rewards in ALMS GT1/2

weight rewards from race results have proven to effective in shaking up race results. In the JGTC especially. Would this be a good idea to break up the corvette domination of the gts/gt1 class. it would definetly make the corvettes work harder. but with a small grid of cars 3-6 typically most cars would be recieveing ballast. the gt/gt2 wouldn't have this problem with it's quailty and quanity of cars. also would ballast be a good idea for the prototype classes.

absolutely not... the ACO rules series reward innovation and achievement and thats not what the ALMS/LMES/Le Mans are about. if you want forced competition you can watch FIA-GT/JGTC.

as for corvette domination, this is nearing its end as they are going to have a bugger of a time fighting of the likes of Saleen, Aston Martin, and Maserati in the upcoming seasons

Hell why stop there, they could invert the starting grid, heck invert the grid and do the old Lemans run to your car and start it.

Then they could implement a claiming rule, and then race at a few figure 8 tracks and, and....

lol yeah i say bring back the runing to the car, with teh speeds of the cars now we will see some drama as the drivers that run the slowest get runned over by the all the cars. but to be serious though yeah the ACO is against rewards weight and Dr. Panoz himself said he is opposed to rewards weight and will never do it in his series.
