Wet settings then?
Just looked at the Finals on website [bored as NW ones not up yet] and the map appears to have half the width of Stebbe Straight covered by the lake. LOL
I notice poor entries for the whole meeting, although a few late entries will help.

4 entries for Fiats and 0 for TVRs according to finals IIRC.
FF1600s were 8 I think plus Dawkins and Dave Connor to go at least. Mind you, i might not be able to enter after all and certainly can't test.

Oulton [Grid size 30] has
Alfas 7
Alfas 8
Caterham 18
Caterham 19
VSR 13
Post89 FF1600 21
Pre90 FF1600 27
So that is one race too many. Amalgamate the Alfas sounds sensible

To get this topic back to Mallory... one of the knock-on effects of the Ford Saloons getting an extra race because the entry is so large, the second Star of the Midlands race is now race five. The first is race two. This gives barely an hour between the two races when I imagine people would prefer that they were a little more spread throughout the day.
(Well, I'd prefer that, whether any of the drivers would is another matter.)
