Perera is third, then di Grassi. Other Brits 11th (Rossiter) and 21st (Rob Austin). Must still be wet because times are in the 1:33's whereas when it was dry for the pre-test yesterday when they were in the 1:16's.

Wow Paul is half a second ahead of Hamilton! Paolo Montin is out this weekend with a Honda engine yet is way off the pace, I thought the Honda was supposed to be better than the Opel. Good to see Rob Austin is still out with Midland, is he racing in the final round as well?

Up to the sudden end of the session, Paul di Resta and Lewis Hamilton were involved in a thrilling battle for pole position. Again and again, they stole each other provisional pole, but at the end of the day, di Resta got the upper hand. Due to the red flags, the new champion, Hamilton, couldn’t strike back and had to settle for second position on the grid.

Vd Garde is on pole for the afternoon race, Vettel is 2nd, Hamilton 3rd. Looking at the times, the track is dry.

Nope. The drack is obviously wet. It was probably a drying track. Dry laps for F3 in Lausitz would be in the 1min 16 sec range.

Race 1 finished earlier, Lewis won from van der Gerde and Vettel. Must still be damp as fastest lap was a 1:23 from Esteban.

Hamilton won also the 2nd race, Di Resta 2nd, Sutil 3rd. Sutil is now sure of 2nd place in the championship.
Hamilton was complaining about back pain after the race, so than it's even more impressive that he won again! 13 wins out of 18 races, if he wasn't disqualified in Spa he would have won 14 races!
Edit: just read dat Di Resta is disqualified, he had less fuel in his car that the minimum of 1,5 litres.

Esteban Guerrieri did the fastest lap on race 1; shame that fastest lap didn't award points in Euro F3...
