Johnny Herbert takes a role at Midland Jordan

As the title states, Johnny Herbert has taken the roll of "sporting relations manager" at Midland Jordan effective immediately. So how might this impact his driving career? No mention of retirement, but surely this will put a strain on his time in sportscars and Le Mans. Although he didn't race at all this year.

I rather fear this may draw a curtain on his driving career, unless he doesn't last at Jordan. It's a shame, as I think he could still have a few good years in sportscars. He's only 41, after all.

Knowing F1, they'll have new owners, two new drivers and a fresh designer in 6 months time.

No ones job is safe in F1.

"Johnny Herbert takes a roll at Midland Jordan"

Clearly they are investing more in buffet than chassis then.

Thanks for pointing out the typo. If one of the mods would edit that I'd appreciate it.
