VSCC Donington Park
I would like to say thanks to the VSCC for organising transport for all marshals at lunchtime today. What an experience to travel to and from the paddock in Edwardian Racing cars. Every marshal I saw was wearing a massive grinwhen they entered the pit road. Can we have more next year please.

I second the thanks posted by rbs. THANK YOU VSCC. It was an amazing experience, definetly in my top 3 of best marshalling activities of the last 10 years. Also thanks to all on post 17 for their hard work-good company, fine weather and glorious cars.

And I third them! I had a ride in a Prince Henry Vauxhall & a Napier - both pre-WW1. A really good example of how to treat (in both senses of the word) marshals. Pity the last race was red flagged due to two pre 1965 GP cars having a whoopsy & nearly blocking the track in front of us. I'm beginning to get a complex about circuit flagging - two reds at VSCC Mallory last month and now this one! Seriously, though, it was a great day.

Have to agree it was areally good weekend. My only gripe would be the 2 hour race on Saturday, just didn't understand how it worked.

I can't find anywhere else to thank all the speed marshals at SeeRed, Mallory Park, Silverstone and every other place that I have run my 1908 Brasier this year, but anyway, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Without you there would be no VSCC racing and no Edwardians on the track anywhere in the world.

I'm sure others will agree when I say that all we ask for is for drivers to enjoy themselves (as you obviously do) and to say thanks...
You've done both of those things so hears to seeing you somewhere next year

the VSCC want to look after those who marshal for them... theres now a sub committee made up of a couple of representatives who are race marshals, and a couple who are speed marshals who feedback any comments for folks who marshal a VSCC event.
Theres also the free to join VSCC Marshal's guild
heck i love VSCC events...

And one of them is yours truly
Any comments/suggestions concerning marshalling at VSCC events gratefully received, either here or by PM if more appropriate (eg libellous! )
