It just dawned on me -- the car's red/blue brushstroke colours remind me of the Oreca run French Supertourisme BMW paint scheme of the mid-90s! Does anyone else recall that?

I'm sure I read before it was to perhaps be painted in Traditional Schnitzer colours.

Check out the middle of the page, you'll see a small picture of the red/blue paintbrush supertourisme BMW paint scheme I'm referring to.

All the entries I have listed have substancial media reports behind them. All apart from;
Michael Wilson GBR Butler Motorsport BMW 320i E46 Possible
The source of this was over at BTCCPages.com, and was posted as a rumour of which I have heard nothing since. Thus its rated as a possiblity, no more, no less.

Forum rumour. Seen in several places though.
Posted in several places because there are guilible people who read several forums and take these stories as gospel and re-post them elsewhere. I expect a large part of this list will turn up on other forums soon.
Well I can actualy tell you guys I have been very busy for the last 7 months. It looked pretty certain that I would be doing the full season but I am saddened to say from news I have just recieved I won't be on the grid for the beginning of the year. There is a good probablity that I may appear this year otherwise I will be working on 2007 when S2000 comes into full effect.
See you around the circuits.
Michael.

Good luck with that Michael.
I see from xpowerforums, that Anthony Reid has been offered a WSR drive this year, but also has to weigh it up against a works Honda drive in Argentina.

The story was also in today's motorsport news along with news that Gordon Sheddon has tested for Team Dymanics.

So if you were Anthony Reid, which ride would you choose? By staying in the BTCC, he will keep his BTCC racetrack experience up to date. OTOH, for a new challenge, he should race in TC2000.

The Shedden deal has basically been done. Fair play, he raised £250,000 which most others can't do.
Not sure how he'll fair against Neal, think he'll struggle big time to be honest, not in the same league. He'll maybe do well at Knockhill though.......

It'll be good to finally see him get a chance after so many years of not being able to raise the money.
By the sounds of things there's going to be a few of last years drivers left on the sidelines this year, especially if Reid is back in contention for a WSR drive.

At the moment, the following drivers from last year have no confirmed drive:
Dan Eaves (likely at WSR)
Colin Turkington (likely at WSR)
Rob Collard (No link)
James Pickford (maybe WSR)
Luke Hines (Has he signed in BGT?)
Gareth Howell (TD?)
Richard Williams (Speed Equipe?)
Ian Curley (Motorbase? or other?)
Andy Neate (Daniels again?)
