ITV-F1 polls
www.itv-f1.com
They have a history of being fairly poor, with badly worded questions and/or very limiting answers...but this one takes the biscuit.
Today's "Who will win the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola?" poll:
Michael Schumacher
37.5 % (9)
Jenson Button
25 % (6)
Rubens Barrichello
8.33 % (2)
Kimi Raikkonen
16.67 % (4)
Juan Pablo Montoya
8.33 % (2)
Ralf Schumacher
4.17 % (1)
Incredibly, the appear to have forgotten about the current world championship leader, and defending world champion, Mr Fernando Alonso.
Does James Allen run their website too?

well they start these polls at each race...
Who will take pole
Who will win the race...
It is an itv-f1 trademark....

It is a trademark indeed, but including the world champion would make it slightly more worthy.

No matter how much criticism ITV will get be it their television coverage or their website, they were and are a million times better then BBC ever were.

At least they didn't include Coulthard. Or Fisichella.

I think Barrichello and Ralf were optimistic choices though, to say the least!

On track too.
The casual fans would be in uproar if jenson was left off that poll.

its silly ain't it....
I just don't think Itv deleiver the goods as they useto...
Even in live coverage they tend to be looking at the wrong person if an incidents appear..

Yes, why the guy second on the grid should be considered at having a slight chance at winning the race I don't know. Madness, utter madness

The anti-hype is getting as tiresome now.
Back to topic, the ITV poll is jsut an example of someone writing something without thinking first.

That is down to the director, who appears to be on strike this weekend, judging by the GP2 coverage and F1 qualifying.

that's another ITv trademark.....notice how James says things without first thinking if it sounds good in his head.
