and for a moment Scotty thought he'd broken the record as the timing display at the top showed 25.84 !!! it wasn't until they pulled the slip off the official printer that he realised that he had just missed it.

Yep at last (and after some very late nights for Tom and i last week),
i was only there on Sunday.......bloody work gets in the way of my fun.
It was the first time i had driven it as i missed the Test day i had booked( no surprise there). So i was bedding in brakes etc......but i was pleased - i wasn't that fast but i wasn't there for that. Oh and i had the biggest grin

Another pair of podiums, well done Paul! If the season were split into 2 halves then you'd be looking like #3 for the second half.

Webbo is Mr Modest.
Seeing as the car had not even moved before he drove it, he drove it very well, very sensibly and you could see the confidence growing each run. It won't take him long to be on the pace. You better watch out Tom!!

Tom New's run was great. What engine does he have? I never saw them take the cover off all day
Scott's final run was awesome entertainment too - didn't look like he was going to pull it off at the first sector timing beam.

Was the record printed wrong in the Programme? It says 26.47 on p23 but 25.85 at the front?

I have some happy snap shots if you would like to see?
