Holdenburg heading North for Bathurst?? (MERGED)

My spies in Benalla tell me the Holdenburg airship spent the night at Benalla Airport and is currently heading north up the Hume.

Assuming it's heading towards Bathurst and the fact it has around a 400km range per hop keep your eye out around Wangaratta shortly & Albury later today as it floats overhead.

I love how Toyota is upset it was floating above the Toyota sponsored AFL Grand Final, considering Toyota tried to ambush the VE launch by announcing some Aurion deal the same weekend at an AFL match.

It is heading towards Bathurst I can tell you that... When the Oran Park round was on it stayed at Camden Airport just down the road, then toodled on over to Sandown before making its main journey to the mountain...

Holdenburg, I like that.

Thats fantastic! Great work Holden! That would be a good way to advertise the Bathurst 1000 too, to all the football yobs - it must be easy to forget after all their weekend madness that Bathurst is on the very next weekend.

Say, will the Holdenburg be able to do an airdrop of potato scallops over at Albury? They could be dyed red.

You should have seen him coming into land, he was sideways and didn't have much control, plus it was dark. I did enjoy watching it!!

Seems there has been a bit of a fan backlash about Holdenburg after the AFL G/F, some fans were getting sick of the solar eclipse that the blimp caused.

The Holdenburg was flying over Wagga at 5pm. It was doing circles around Wagga Motors when I left Wagga to go home. It flew past my parents farm south of Wagga about 4:30 pm and upset one of the dogs.

I remember that Whitlam airship... We used to have "BlimpCam". Anyone know whether the Holdenburg will be beaming us vision too?

Hope it helps sell VE's, because the dealers are screaming. High fuel consumption and no Gas model. A Billion bucks wasted

Could Ford be jealous of the Holden Blimp?

Hey all

On the news they had a thing on the Holden Blimp that is here in QLD. Cricket Australia which are sponsored by Ford, are saying that it is trouble for getting people to the events here in QLD.

Does anyone have anymore on this? I missed the end of it.
