So who/what is Firepower anyway?
I've been wondering for ages what this Firepower stuff is that is backing Tasman Motorsport as I've never seen it in an auto shop.
Seems I'm not the only person...

"Firepower" used to be a brand of automotive replacement stuff - points , condensers , plug leads and so forth , however don't know if it's the same as the sponsor of the Tasman car.

What an interesting read! Allegedly Firepower are using Tasman and others to launder money garnered from a former KGB money making enterprise!

This 'Firepower' was a sponsor of Ryan McLeod's production class Suzuki Swift in the late 1990's... they were going to help him move up thru the classes, but something went turtle and the dollars went elsewhere...
The CCCP perhaps??

This Firepower group allegedly seems to have a very tangled web of deals and kickbacks from government officials and others around the world .
Seems strange for all this promotion in Aus from a company that , according to it's website , outside Western Australia only stocks it's products in one shop in Northern Territory and one shop in Tasmania
Very weird hope it's not another debacle like the Westpoint group

It sounds like money laundering and arms smuggling make up the core business with those connections and obvious lack of legitimate business activity. Makes Westpoint look legit.

The more you look at the website the nastier the whole "Firepower" thing looks, with branches in Romania; South Africa; US; Germany; Belarus, Middle East..this is CIA/KGB stuff. Hopefully "Firepwer" will disappear as a sponor of Australian sport and be replaced by a legit enterprise.

that last article is just pure self advertising... anything is possible to be marketed by supposed fuel savings some where in the former USSR...
Its a lot like all the oil and fuel additives here and the USA that are better known as snake oil...
oh and not to forget the polarizer!!!!
I sure hope tasman get paid up front!!!!
aren't both the carratti brother getting firepower money also? whats the connection there?
