I imagine somehow mr. johnson will get away with it or get a slap on the wrist. Probably in 10 years or less he'll be back at it again, with another group of sheeple lining up to hand over money. Sadly in our society white collar crime pays. You can swindle and defraud "investors" of hundreds of millions of dollars and either get away with it or serve a year or two in jail, but if you stick a gun in someones face and steal $40 it's twenty years to life.

Yes mountainstar theres a string of them over the decades and I dont think this one ends with the motoring/motor sport industry - I was listening to ABC radio last night and the sting now involves AFL clubs and players (South Australia only at this stage) to the tune of over $60 million dollars!!!

Now their going to try to fob off the remaining substantial stock of product(so they say) on the public. A useless product from all accounts.

Accountancy and insolvency firm Hall Chadwick has been appointed by Firepower Operations Pty Ltd as the failed company's administrator.
The appointment comes after UK-based Firepower investors decided to pursue a possible rescue package.
Firepower director Tim Johnston signed the necessary documents in London.
"Firepower has a large amount of stock and prospects of good ongoing orders for its bulk fuel supplies,” Hall Chadwick said in a statement.
"Funds recently have been lent to the company to meet the pressing costs of trading, and to defend the winding-up application.

Tim Johnson looks an awful lot like another not-so-gentlemen, who also fleeced a couple of australians before 'disappearing' overseas.
