So who do you tell that they can't race? Because pretty much everyone on the entry list has raced in this championship before. If it makes you feel any better I'll probably pull my entry (I'm only a reserve anyway) so that those below me who might get out for the whole year can take part - so you're one place nearer already!

very hard,

with so many entrys

i did race at lydden, and now feel part of the championship,

but i wound not wont anyone out just so i can get a race,

maybe something needs to be done when the championship visits brands as this seams to be the most popular track.

and the only track there is this problem,

how about two grids with a single 15 or 20 minute race,

instead of the two 12 minute ones.

dont know if that would be enough time on there day to allow this

only brands hatch would know.

then its your loss. not mine as a competeter i can race somewhere else.

i can not do a championship if i can not even get on the grid!

with gregs 8th on the resverve list and me 9th and john cross 3rd reserve

so 2nd and 3rd in class A wont be able to race at brands as it stands today.

not a good start to the championship.
If you were at Lydden you should have been at the drivers breifing at which Chezza stated quite clearly to get the Brands entries in ASAP as it will fill up quickly.
So why not get the entry pack you were sent and fill in every entry for every race you want to enter and send them off to Chezza with postdated cheques. That way you will get on the grid and if you can't make a race then you can cancel within a reasonable time.

BTW Chezza can also provide a list of cleaners who will come round and pick your toys up for you.

thats why you ended up a reserve !

brands was nearly full BEFORE lydden, so not sending an entry until a week after its no suprise you ended up a reserve, there was nothing to stop you entering before lydden

entries for this meeting were granted as per the championship regs on a first come first served basis, you cant say fairer than that.

after round 3 if a meeting is over subscribed preference will go to those who have entered previous meetings.

I have just caught up with all of this and I have to say I am VERY disappointed with all some of the comments that have been posted on here. Myself and the rest of the committee try our very hardest to accommodate everybody and take on everybodies comment, but when I hear comments like that I wonder why the hell I/we bother.

There have been more than several drivers enter for the entire season...I think EVERY round already has at least 15 entries already so if you are thinking of entering Brands in August/November I would get your entries in NOW.

The extra race on Sunday is an allcomers race, but preference will be given to our reserves. Price for the race on its own is £125, or if you have competed in another race on the day it will be £99. Entries are to go to the CSCC not me.

Is there an entry form for this one? I don't seem to be able to find it anywhere.

This was only sorted out yesterday, don't panic. However, preference will go to drivers on the DMN reserve list plus those held in abeyance. Others can join in by letting the CSCC know. If you are entered in another race (such as the tin top challenge) they will already have your details but they need to know you are interested.

re: DMN reserves. How many of them can practice? I seem to remember it being 4 at other events, and then if someone doesn't make the race the reserve takes a place at the back of the grid (practice time not relevant). How does it work for the two-race DMN format?

re: CSCC race - what format? How long, and is there practice for this also?

Cheers!
Tim
