DTC - Any spectators?

Danish Touringcar Championship, DTC, have eight racing weekends this year. Four at Jyllandsringen, three at Padborg Park and one at Sturup Raceway. Jyllandsringen and Padborg is only about 10-20km between eachother. My question is, with all the championship centred around such a small area (Århus), do they get any significant number of spectators?

If i am correct, Padborg Park is in the south of Denmark, almost in Germany. The Jyllandsringen is maybe 80kms more to the north.
Maybe they should race a race in Knutstorp as well, since it's close to the border, and near Copenhagen, as is Sturup.

My mistake - would it perhaps be Ring Djursland that is next to Jyllandsringen? In any case, it seems to lack variation.

But so does for example Belcar, and nonetheless they are rather succesfull. They mostly race at Zolder, a bit at Spa and one round outside Belgium.

I don't have any numbers, but maybe you can judge it from the race pictures?

There's also 5 hours live tv from most of the races, so I guess that it doesn't matter that much that they're situated in the same area. Though it would be nice with a race close to Copenhagen

Jyllands Ringen is places near Aarhus like Ring Djursland (not used for this years championship) and Padborg Park is placed on the German border approx 200 km away from Jyllands Ringen.

Estimated there at arounfd 15.000 at Jyllands Ringen and 10.000 at Padborg Park.

On top of that there have beed live TV from all races including suportclasses the past 4-5 years. This year another channel (Kanal 5) have taken over the the rights.

the series must be quite popular considering that it attracts drivers like jan magnussen and that we hear about it in the UK

An end of season DTC vs. STCC showdown would be something I wouldn't mind watching. We've got two big fields of cars racing just a few kilometers apart from each other:

13 x BMW 320si E90
6 x BMW 320i E46
5 x Peugeot 407
4 x Honda Accord
3 x Volvo S60
3 x Audi A4
3 x Chevrolet Lacetti
3 x SEAT Leon
2 x Mercedes C200
2 x Opel Astra
2 x Alfa Romeo 156
1 x Honda Civic
1 x SEAT Toledo
1 x Renault Megane

(I may have counted a bit wrong, but you get the picture)

And if we put the first race on Danish soil I could stock up on beer as a nice bonus! Everybody wins!
