TinTops Brands 5th May

Any News on who's entered the Tintops on 5th May at Brands Hatch ? and as it's a CSCC vs BARC Challenge, who's batting for each side ?

Not sure who is in the CSCC team, but BARC south east have nominated Bill Richards (Mini) as team captain. Amongst the entries so far are Steve Dann (VW Golf), Gary Chappell (Toyota Celica), Andrew Busby (BMW), John Willcocks (BMW), Robin Welsh (BMW), Tristan Barden (Mini). There will be others but CSCC are away at Snetterton this weekend.

I've got entry confirmed (by email) in Astra - just need to finish car-should be finished, but won't be re-mapped by then.

Hi Rod,

I was up for this as you know, but I'm now away until that weekend and will be racing at Mallory the following weekend so have had to bale..

Sounds like an interesting format though, just need to get some better luck with dates.

Oh that's a shame Stacy, your final race of the day (yesterday) was a real corker. We were looking forward to a repeat on May 5th.

I hope it won't be the last.. The right man won on Sunday though, I just didn't have the speed - one (hundred) too many millionaires shortbread!

Always so much easier and fun to race 'open' with people you trust not to take you off, especially in cars with different pros and cons.

S.

Should be fun Rod!
As Bill is team captain does he dish out team orders? like the Blue Mini finishes in front of the red and yellow one? Ha ha

I think they had a "recovery day" on Monday after Snetterton. I know they are sorting things out today.
