no it is one of those things where if you don't finish, you are not classified. Obviously the Pug had potential problems and it might have been too risky to send it along for another lap....

Buncombe also came back on track, although their advance over the Zytek was still considerable..

dj4monie is heading for a stewards' enquiry!
Final Post -

Congrats AMR and you know I should have bet yet again... I'll learn one of these days.

Congrats David Richards!

For Binnie enjoy it your last victory at Le Mans

For Pat Long and Matmut Porsche bravo, though if Mr Melo hasn't slipped in oil, you would be WAY back in 2nd.

Mentions for Risi and Ocrea they'll be back.

I will be at the track next year, I decided to skip it after I knew it was going to rain today.

Thanks to Premiere Cable in Germany for their wire to wire commercial FREE coverage of the race, available on the net for a whole 6 Euro.

I suggest anybody that doesn't have Motors TV and a high speed connection, try it out. I did get a busy network flag a few times, but for 24+hours of coverage, it stayed connected and ran pretty much without issue, even with a wifi connection - ATI Graphics FTW

ACO should really work on their timing and scoring....

Well its Lime Rock in what 2 weeks, if you haven't heard IMSA has put the 5% reduction on the LMP2 cars. Won't make much difference until we get to Road America actually.

Looking forward to next early summer in Europe again (that is if I don't live here by then) and the 2nd half of the ALMS season.
