12 year old

Is it true that there is a 12 year old racing in the Skip
Barber series in the US?

What is the youngest to go to British F3?

Wasnt Scott Dixon 13 when he started racing single seaters in NZ? And I heard the Rodriguez brothers were 12 when they started in Mexico.

Youngest in British F3 so far would be 17, I think.
There will be a 16 year-old in F Renault next year.

this 12 yr old is quick; time will tell if he is competitive. finished 4th in his first race; spun passing for second.

Why did you ask us if it was true that there was 12 year old racer then?

ems-You must be blind. The kid walks around like his **** doesnt stink. Sure he was fast for like 3 laps but after that he slowed way up. I agree with russfeld about the feedback. It is a no brainer on what the car is doing it PUSHES all the skippy cars do. If you say its loose, then you dont know how to drive. One of the 5 best? Five best what? Five best 12 year olds? Nah I could gather 5 12 year olds that would beat him. If you want to talk about someone with a lot of talent at that race, Mike Giessen won his race and it was his 2nd time in any type of formula car.

Given that you have asked the same question in several threads and then started up one specifically about the pre teen it suggests you may be connected with the precocious one?
If you are part of his PR regime ( perish the thought) you may like to look back at the reception Dan Clarke's PR people received in months past ...

What is this guys name?

BTW, there is a 12 year-old kid who will be testing Fran-Am 1600 (I think called Formula Renault 1600 or Formula Monza in Europe). His name is Cole Witt. he is winning everything in junior karts in the US, but also has a budget that some F3 teams would love to have!

The age limit in the UK for s/seaters is being lowered to 15 for next year, I believe.

A little half-pint 12 year old kid, called Cole Witt?? It's a joke, right? Half Witt.

Cole Witt is a great talent and is th best driver his age is America. Though I do think he is too young to move to cars. You dont start to reallt master your craft until you get into a class such as ICA. It would be smart for him to spend more time in karting until going to Fran-Am 1600. And yes he has got an amazing budget even for karting. You should see his rig. It's is just sick.
