JRM Racing will stream its debut 24 Hours of Le Mans campaign live online on its website, www.jrm-group.com. JRM will contest its first Le Mans this year in the LMP1 class with David Brabham, Peter Dumbreck and Karun Chandhok.

Fans will be able to follow the progress of car #22 live throughout the 24 hours of racing from a camera mounted on the front of the team’s Honda HPD ARX-03a.

The camera will provide unparalleled access to the cut and thrust of the Le Mans field and the progress of the JRM Racing crew as it takes on the works and privateer teams of the field.

Interspersing the coverage will be live interviews from the pit lane to give a complete insight of JRM’s debut Le Mans 24 Hours race progress. A JRM Racing pit lane crew will be catching up with the drivers after each stint, the mechanics as they follow the race in the garage, plus following any news stories live from the pit wall with insights from chief engineer, Nigel Stepney, and team principal, James Rumsey.

Coverage will start immediately before the start of the race at 15:00hrs CET on Saturday 16 June and finish just after the conclusion of the race at 15:00hrs CET Sunday 17 June.

Fans should log onto the JRM website www.jrm-group.com and click on the portal for the live streaming.

The stream will also be shown on www.crash.net and www.speedhunters.com.

James Rumsey, JRM Racing team principal said, ‘Le Mans is one of the most thrilling races on the racing calendar. As well as racing cars in class, each lap the LMP1 cars will have to negotiate the traffic and deal with the potentially evolving track and weather conditions. Having an onboard camera tracking our progress will give fans a pretty unique insight of what it’s like to be in the hot seat, actually out on track. The addition of the live commentary will also keep viewers up to date on the overall progress of the race, with all the latest news from the team and our direct competitors.

‘Le Mans is a very special race and we are delighted we can give fans access all areas to see how we are progressing over the race. It’s our aim to finish our debut race and, where possible, to finish well – become part of the team as we try to achieve our goals.’

JRM Racing is the reigning FIA GT1 World champion and is owned by entrepreneur James Rumsey and led by the motor racing veteran Nigel Stepney. In 2011 JRM took the German pairing of Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr to victory in the Championship using Nissan GT1 GT-Rs.
