The last 2-3km of the Half Marathon is from Club/Vale backwards to Stowe then all the up to Copse. When you're 18km in with 3km to go, you feel that Hanger Straight rise.

flatlandsman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
most of the incline there is manmade when they created the bends on it in the early 90's
