Sis squig says THX but which is better?
TW says that Sis squig has done tracks for New Zealand (we're half Aussie-half NZ), India, Brazil U.S.A. (excluding Alaska) and China if u r interested. PLZ NOTE: May I be the 1 to inform u that Sis squig is only posting those tracks of certain countries and that's it, I'm sorry if you were expecting her to be a consistent contributor to my thread. Signing out. Last edited by TilkeWannabe; 24 May 2008 at 10:38. |

My Australia is a bit different to sis squig's as you can probably see quite clearly. I figured that if I was going to do Australia, I'd have to include Tasmania too.
So I came up with a figure-of-eight because Tasmania isn't connected to the mainland. It might be a bit slow around the Tasmania part (it doesn't help when it's as small as it is!) but I believe that slow part would be good for the long, fast part which would follow which is the S/F straight. Personally, my fav parts are the Nullabor Plain (along the bottom), the S/F straight leading up to the "Cape York Hairpin" and the Northern Territory heading into the Kimberley (northern W.A.). All up, it's a very fast, anti-clockwise joyride around one of the most beautiful countries in the world, if I do say so myself. |

Yeah, including Tasmania is a definitely good idea I think. And, I must say, I like your version a bit more than the first one - seems to flow just a tad bit better.
And I agree: the Nullarbor section must be helluva ride. (Maybe would be even better riding the other direction, when you arrive at it from that long and fast sweeper and not from that slower corner). As for the bridge I think it would be best to lift the "horizontal" part and make the "vertical" part go under the bridge. Good job, I like it. bio |

THANK YOU!!! It's hard to keep up with the comments you're making. I've been watching the "who's online" list checking when anyone, such as yourself is on. I was watching the Monaco GP Quali highlights on TV and you caught me a bit off guard when I got back. No need to apologise.

Well, especially for Brazil and China, I'd definitely ease a bit on the tricky parts and would not follow the contours so faithfully. For Brazil, for example, thattop-left section would, I assume, be totally unejoyable both for the spectators and drivers.
The India circuit, on the other hand, is awesome! bio |

I just want to state that I didn't come up with the tracks that I posted last night. I only went over them eith a marker and chose where the pitlane should go for some tracks.
See ya! |
