Spanner monkey should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Nissan to RML & WTCC

Heard some reports in the paddock at the weekend that RML return to WTCC with Nissan after Chevy have pulled out at the end of the year... And that they have already started work on the new car!
If true that will be great news to all people working on the chevy wtcc project

The most realistic option is the new Sylphy Sentra. Very modern, but not very sporty.



Another option could be the new Note, but it lloks like a Fit or a Yaris, not like a lLeón or C30.

No! NO! NO! I wanted to see RML and Infiniti so badly in the DTM. Why did they have to go to the WTCC instead? What's the big deal beating Honda and Lada, when could be a contender to Mercedes, Audi and BMW? But I'll wait for any official confirmation. Maybe someone mixed up the touring car championships.

dtm entry pls! (or lmp1 ^^) much more exciting, FAST cars. and the s2000 regs are rubbish.

Well, S2000 actually has some relevance to road cars.. There's that.

And does Nissan want to contend with Mercedes, Audi and BMW? What if they want to show off a smaller car?

S2000 is a good formula, the WTCC just needs the works teams. Nissan would help make the championship stronger.

If they turned up the boost a bit and made the cars a bit quicker, it would be a viable series.

Very true. I was just reading an old Autosport article the other day about when they ran the Nissan BTCC team and the Vauxhall British Rally Championship team at the same time. Different personel, different buildings, same company.

Can you buy it in Morocco or Russia?

Anyway bringing up a point from a few months ago, Nissan is planning a modern version of the Pulsar GTI-R.
