Other than a possible entry what other assets does HRT have?
Fresh air? |

Probably but could it be made quick enough to get points, I doubt it. So who ever buys HRT will have to start from scratch.
I wonder has any work been done on a car for next year? At least that would add some value to the team. A GP team without a car for next year has very little value. |

Didn't Ross Brawn buy the Honda F1 Team for £1, or something like that?
$5 can buy you a lot......of trouble. I do believe that HRT own the intellectual rights to their car. And the nice thing for the buyer is that it wouldn't take too much work to make it legal for next season. The season to really worry about is the season after that one. |

Without a substantial increase in testing opportunities, unlikely.

Apparently, they have a little bit more than just a 'lock-up', a Transit van, and a couple of wheelie-bins.

Not sure why they're still insisting on giving Ma a run in first practice still if the team is on the verge of folding? They must be getting some money out of it, so why not run him for the whole weekend and get more money?

It might be to do with having to pay off one of their other drivers to stand down.

Maybe Tata will invest but there are also rumours of a middle eastern investment consortium interested in buying the team.

Ma Qing Hua's constant running makes me think that either: a) Ma's money is the only thing that's keeping HRT afloat at the moment. b) This is a last ditch attempt by HRT to convince a Chinese investor(s) to buy the team. |

lots of chinese investment - either foreign money into china and chinese money out - is on hold until they've finished their power-shifting shenanigans at the moment.
if hrt are waiting for chinese money they're going to have to sit tight and wait until things have settled down there a bit. |
