Mirror Man should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
TVR Tuscans at Silverstone

Multiple kart champion competed in his first TVR Tuscan Challenge at
Silverstone last weekend. The meeting was fraught with problems as the car
turned up ill prepared by the team who last ran it. This left Nathan with
the task of at least getting it to scrutineering standard in less than a
day. Showing remarkable resilience and determination the car was made ready
with help from the cars owner Pete Osborne and Jet Black Racing. However a
bodywork problem and engine misfire restricted the first practice 2 only two
laps - the only 2 that Nathan had driven in total in a Tuscan. This would
make timed qualifying very difficult. 2 laps into qualifying the engine
failed and he returned to the pits to find a broken plug lead. By now the
track was strewn with gravel from a spinning car and Nathan completed a
further 7 laps under difficult conditions to qualify 11th of 18.

Sunday 1st race and its wet, the only laps completed 11 in total were in the
dry, how would he fare? After fluffing the start he drove with style and
determination to finish 8th outshining many seasoned Tuscan drivers and was
looking forward the 2nd race when the meeting was cancelled because of
flooding. Nathan made many friends and admirers and proved once again that
he is one of the best prospects on British Motorsport's with the ability to
quickly adapt to any vehicle he drives and put it at the front end of any
grid. Nathan will compete at the 4th round of the challenge at Knockhill in
mid May.

Thanks to Silverstone TVR, Osborne and Sons Insurance, Pete Osborne Racing, James Crofts, Richard Francis, Truck Care, and Elite Signs for their support.

Nathan will next be in action at Pembrey in the 1st round of the MSA British
Division 2 Superkart series as F1 Karts works drivers.
