Certainly thats a good chance of happening, but on the flip side this is the second round of '2 for 1' ticket deals for this years event (they originally did it a month or so back), to be handing out these deals this late in the day is perhaps not a great sign ticket sales wise.... ofcourse a whack of people will rock up and just buy tickets on the day too.

Perhaps the unfortunate lack of a post-race concert may have hurt pre-event sales this year? Fans might be planning on popping over in the arvo for the 5pm start and get their tickets on entry, rather than make a day of it with the race & concert as could be done in previous years

I like the event, enjoy going and its future is secure for at least another 3 years, which given the ghost town that the Saturday race crowd was last year (due mainly to the heat admittedly) didn't look likely this time last year. I'm looking forward to the weekend.

TAKE plenty of money Pecky for food and drinks as thats how V8sc plan to recoup the losses on 2 for 1 ticket deal.

Some of it was bad but the Wilson challenge and Caruso as Santa were pretty good to watch.

Felt the lady footballers were a bit tacky though

Lowndes the master of bump got one, but he did dive, got of line, and Roland complains, please send this pommy back , red bull give but can never take, drivers have got to have a go, but if dive doesn't work out, don't blame others, but then again Roland is a pom, whingeing by nature

some bent cars already, interesting, but Jamie is out front and clear, oh well, another championship.
