Well that was a crazy race!!
Very close finish in GT as well, I thought for a second that Jorg would get him! |

Overall this edition of PLM has a bitter taste, because of the high level of attrition amongst the big guns, the controversy of the Dumas crash and the bad mood that followed, and the neverending safetycar periods.
But most of all, with the race unlikely to figure to the 2012 LMIC schedule, it looks like this could have been the last PLM as we know it, with such prestige and high level entries we got used to. Also I wonder, will Oreca be at Zhuhai? Otherwise it could have been the last time we saw a 908 HDI FAP, which makes me feel nostalgic. At least the GT battle was intense up to the last lap! Congratulation to all winners! |

The way this race went, I'd be very surprised that it's not on the calendar for WEC next year.

Really enjoyed that. When the dust has settled it would be interesting to see how many laps Wurz got in the #8. Just the one truncated stint?
The amount of last lap/last corner GT battles year in year out is amazing. Such an action-packed class. Off to bed now got work tomorrow. Cheers guys! |

Awesome stuff by Peugeot, I´m a little gutted about BMW..so many punctures, unreal.
Now I´m extremely curious what Peugeot will bring to Zhuhai since they´ve already announced to experiment. |

Fantastic race, if the PLM isn't included on the 2012 WEC schedule it'll be a damned shame.
