2009 All Japan Superbike...
Round 1 of the All Japan Superbike Championship was held at the Tsukuba Circuit on the weekend. That "old man" Shin'ichi Itoh showed he still had plenty of pace by starting from pole position - he eventually finished 19th in a race won by Honda rider Chojun Kameya. Interesting that the 4 Japanese manufacturers all finished in the top 5, and a Ducati came home 12th
Superbike Points... 1. Chojun Kameya - 25 2. Nobuyuki Ohsaki - 22 3. Takumi Takahashi - 20 4. Akira Yanagawa - 18 5. Yoshihiro Konno - 16 6. Tatsuya Yamaguchi - 15 Honda rider's took the top 2 spots in the Supersport class... Supersport Points... 1. Yusuke Tejima - 20 2. Satoru Iwata - 17 3. Yu-ji Satoh - 15 4. Yo****eru Konishi - 13 5. Toshiyuki Arakaki - 11 6. Yuichi Takeda - 10 7. Shin’ichi Nakatomi - 9 |
