Stinger57 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Vertically mounted master cylinders

Hi all, me and some friends are in the very early stages of designing/building an open wheel race car as something to do at the weekends etc. We have a rough idea of the chassis design that will be used and because of the very limited space in the nose cone we plan to have the master cylinders vertically mounted.

The problem we are having is deciding how to convert the horizontal motion of the push rod from the brake pedal into a vertical motion to move the cylinder pistons. We were thinking of something along the lines of a cam or Bell Crank but if anyone here could offer any other ideas/advice it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
