I will be there in a 95 Swift (8 years since I last drove the car). Just been sorting out a new race suit for some reason I dont fit in the old one any more, I am not too sure why!!! It should be a fantastic meeting, FFords on the GP track is always great fun.

Got the forms James - assuming PA will let me play in the woods, we'll be out their in the pre-historic class (car and driver) - hopefully we'll lure a few more of the pre-71 historic and some of those niether old or new classic FF's out there for battles thru the field.

I've got a Ray GR00 available for hire if anybody is interested in doing this race but doesn't have a car.(Photographs of the car are on the Club Formula Ford website in the classified section)

I have been asked to point out by a number of you ten-tenthers that this race is on the GP loop, and it takes place ahead of the F3-GT weekend and the HSCC Superprix..... So - it makes an ideal race test for people looking for track time on a circuit that everyone loves to drive on, but seldom has the opportunity !!

Well done for a great event today; an all time classic circuit, summer sun, a mix of historic, classic and modern cars - 1971 thru' to 2011! More exposure for FF to a crowd that wouldnt necessarily have seen this format before. Great stand alone race, but also should become a strong date slot/s on the GP layout that don't have testing. No doubt this will grow as more realise what a good 'open' race it is. Well done to JSkinny for the win and great to watch the closest possible battle for 3rd from the comfort of a 1971 armchair around Westfield - thats when pulling over to be lapped is no problem! |

I'll second that - thank you James! Weather was a bonus, so thanks for arranging that too. Really enjoyed the circuit - my first time on the GP. Looking forward to the next round.
