2012 F3 Euroseries Silly Season
I hope this series survives as this could be a good alternative if British F3 does not pull off for young drivers.
Any rumours on the drivers?

I have no clue. Most important question is. Will all the teams stay? Because if one of the three main teams (Mucke, Signature, Prema) quits, this series is doomed.

We do know the calendar at least. All 9 rounds supporting DTM, and sadly no UK round this year.
27 - 29 April - Hockenheim I (D)
4 - 6 May - Lausitzring (D)
1 - 3 June - Red Bull Ring (A)
29 June - 1 July - Norisring (D)
17 - 19 August - Nürburgring (D)
24 - 26 August - Zandvoort (NL)
14 - 16 September - Oschersleben (D)
28 - 30 September - Valencia (E)
19 - 21 October - Hockenheim II (D)
(subject to approval from the FIA)

good news - particularly to see gu having a go at f3. wonder if that means max wissel will be driving...
now all they have to do is find drivers who want to do it

Last year they claimed 16 cars and 6 teams for 2011 season but the actual numbers were 12 cars and 4 teams...

Wouldn't Philip Ellis, who won the Formula Lista championship this year with GU, be more likely?

What the Euro Series people do, and this is something I found out a few years ago, is take advance registrations in return for a small fee, which is then deducted from the registration fee if the entry is later completed.
It enables them to issue a list like this before the teams have found drivers for their cars. It's a PR thing, really.
