Well Ringo,
in USD$
Italian F2 (Lola 96 car) - USD$ 200.000
Euro 3000 (Lola 99 car) - USD$ 350.000 to $ 400.000
Int 3000 (Lola 02 car) - USD$ minimum 500.000

Money goes to the more recent cars, more testing, more travelling and more visibility by the media.

Dont forget Teams are companies that are out there to make their profit, so ... Higher you go more you pay
Cheers.

Good idea this Formula 2: reasonably priced and yet powerful cars... let's hope for some good drivers to step in soon!
