Proton in the Top Ten.
Since many rally cars went out with mechanical troubles at the Safari Rally. There was a Proton Group N rally car finishing tenth.

Well there were only 11 or 12 finishers.
Did you know an old Mini started the rally but retired with a broken driveshaft? Of all things, to drive a Mini on the toughest Rally I've ever seen!!! |

the proton that finished tenth was karamjit singh and he is a great driver who is defending champion of the asia pacific title so it is no suprise to me.
