I thought they must have been talking about either Jason Bright or Garth Tander.

Could be Bright, but i was told by a friend it was Kelly but would surely stay at HRT if he was asked. Bright had links with ford when he was with SBR, so could be possible.

HRT #1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I think it could possibly be Jason Bright because unless Kee's Weel retains his services then Bright may just cross to Ford but time will tell.

pete55 you must of been half a sleep, the commentators were joking, when they were racing for first in the last laps and after Gary Rodgers told them to race but don't take each other out and the commentator said something like "what if Garth Tander has signed with Ford for next year and hasn't told anybody and punts Murph off and wins"

just a comment!

What i heard said was something like this during the end of the race during tanders battle with murphy :

"what would happen if he was signed to ford and he hadnt told them?"

which was in reference to garth tander signing and not telling garry rogers.

i am almost positive it was said in jest after we heard form rogers radio that they could go for the race just dont take each other out.

cheers

I just got message that it is Bright they are talking about. McConville may move but it might not be to the main team mentioned. Still a bit of interest about John Bowe (moving or not) and who will be in the second 888 seat. Maybe Jason Bright is either going there or to DJR.

Cantos contract is only a management contract from what i ahve been told, he can therefore be stood aside.

Whatever was said, the point remains that 888 will possibly need another driver and most probably DJR as well. So that is 2 Ford seats possibly open. Looks like possibly 3 or more Holden seats to fill yet too.

GREAT POINT aj - SPORTING CONTRACTS ARE WORTHLESS AND UNENFORCEABLE IF THE PERSON IS NOT HAPPY where they are !Why would Kelly go to Ford after daddy big bucks bought out K-Mart racing from the TWR smamozzal. I would think Bright and murphy may end up in a team brock compromise for 2004.This is only going off BROCK's constant praise of his co-drivers, EXCEPT kelly , i noticed .I wonder why that was

i thought pwr took over all twr stuff and then signed bright to a 2 year contract to pwr. his twr contract was dead when twr died.. twr has nothing to do with current contracts.

TWR don't even exist anymore so there can't be any contract still running between them.
