Just noticed as well that it is one hell of a gap between rounds six and seven. What are you going to do in July and August!?

Matt - the gap doesn't coincide with any standalone KoK races But I guess people can do NW or Combe races to count for KoK points.

Still seem to be quite a few clashes - weekend of June 19/20 there are rounds at Oulton, Combe and Mallory. Sheer madness.

Well given that BRSCC have more than four dates at Mallory, perhaps they could have? I think the same clash occured on the same weekend last year!

If you turn up at Oulton that weekend you'll have to be competing on either two or three wheels because New Era is there.

However, if you fancy a trip to the seaside there is racing at Anglesey.

DALY should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Just to let you know another Star of Midlands date is 21st March 2004 at Silverstone BRDC meeting. This was agreed but not added to the provisional list, it is now confirmed as a date. So we have 10 rounds. There is a large gap in the calendar but it was not possible to fill the date with a realistic and attractive race slot. We are looking for big grids and by having 10 rounds we hope we can achieve that.

The BRSCC have got several championships to satisfy and it is not always possible to move dates without affecting half a dozen other championships. Let's get behind the club and get a good years racing in.

(There are a few returnees to FF1600, one is ex ARP F3 looking for excitement on the track, another is a previous champion, should be a good competitve year)

Daly Systems Ltd are sponsoring the Star of Midlands for a third year. Prize money at each event.
As part of the sponsorship package Daly Systems Ltd are also looking to pay for some race entries, terms are available at the BRSCC stand in the Star of Midlands envelopes.

Looking at the dates DALY I may have to do the SOM Championship. Although I am not keen on Mallory the rest seem really good. Can you let us know about the deal as I am impatient and don't want to wait till tomz!!

You can't beat a good midfield scrap.

Reminds himself to keep looking over his shoulder and to employ an official cake taster.

Diz: ooh you are awful........

If I were you, I would be very careful about consuming any Mr Kiplings that are offered to you by Mr Hodgen in future: you never know what might be in them
