Nick One should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2004 Bathurst 24hr

An early question I know, but does anyone know when campground tickets are available? Also how much & where do I buy them? Has the tavern in the paddock been demolished with all these new renovations? If so will there be another? Any help greatly appreciated.

Tickets not on sale until well after June, camping ditto. BTW, if you went to the 2003(or even watched it) than you'd know that the weather patterns of Mt Panorama can be a bit wild...

Cheers - I know the weather well enough, been to a few 1000's in my time - what's that got to do with the price of tix after June?

the rain was a bit erractical at the 24hr, and it was a lot warmer though. Not sure what the weather has to do with it all either?

Maybe Pplater is suggesting that if you are camping, you should hire a jumping castle so you can sleep above high water mark!

I was supposed to camp there, but on Friday Morning I gave up that idea and called EVERY establishment in Bathurst to find a vacancy. I stayed in a hotel for $30 a night, with complimentary hot breakfast, aussie style. Much better than sleeping in a wet tent and eating a dagwood dog for brekky. But if the weather is decent, camping would be a treat.
