Kelvin should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
A chance to help WSR

Not totally finalised yet, but it looks as if another forum of which I am a member of, are about to launch a new fund raising project for WSR. If you fancy winning a new MG sports car for just £20, then tuck that twenty quid to one side now! We already raised £1500 for WSR and £1300 for Kartworld, buying us space on the cars for the forum URL.

The sports car is a little more ambitious, and for it to succeed we will have to sell around 1000 tickets.

more details hopefully in the next few days.

No disrespect to Kartworld but I would rather all my money went to WSR and I'm sure it would go further with just one team.

Any money raised in the new project will ALL go to WSR
In the first doanation, it was not apparent WSR were not to be a factory team. It was a gesture of goodwill the MG enthusiasts gave to Kartworld. When it was apparent WSR needed some too, we raised some more!!

Its a private purchase... a x-power forum member, at cost price. No cost risk to WSR.

I doubt I'd be able to insure it! Probably end up donating it to WSR as long as I could get a race in the ZS..

Just on that note im guessing you have to be 17 or over to buy a ticket seeing as their is a Road Car as a prize and altho i'm 16 there is no way my mum or dad would let me drive it...

But its great to see lots support for WSR, If I had the money for sure I would give them some as Dick has done a great job and Reidy is 4th in the overall championship at the mo which is excellent for someone who had only seen the car for 78 hours. Well done to the people who have set this up!!

Maybe Kelvin will be able to help more but I think you'd be able to buy a ticket if your 16 or under - it'd just mean mum or dad would have to drive!

The prize car will not be at Brands Hatch, but will be on show at Silverstone, by which time hopefully, the bulk of tickets will have been sold.

Look for the xpower camp up on the south bank 'cash' purchase of tickets, and maybe sellers out and about on walkabout!

Kelvin any chance of posting mug shots of the likely lads (and lasses?) who will have the tickets. Two reasons - firstly I have no idea who is selling them and two there are people out there who will sometimes try to rip people off which is a great shame but since I have no idea what the tickets look like either its hard to know. Anyway best of luck and I promise to buy some when my pay comes in next week! :-)
