lambo performance @ valencia

the reiter lambo was fifth fastest in the first practice for valencia and within a second of the care 550s after only running 9 laps... very excited about the barber cars in the alms now.

I'm already making my plans for Mid-Ohio...

Can't wait to see the Lambos with Brabham, Kox and Maxwell among the pilots....

They showed some images of Valencia on the Dutch news. 45mm of rain in 12 hours...

Sounds like they might need pontoons instead of rain tires....

That car just has a menacing look to it! I to can't wait for its appearance in the ALMS. My tickets are on the way for Sonoma!

quick question. I was thinking today (there's a first time for everything If Reiter were to win or podium with the R-GT then pass it along to DAMS, would DAMS retain the points for the Valencia effort? Would they have to enter it under the Reiter banner for the remainder of the season to keep the points?

Probably a stupid question on my part but I was curious.

Thanks

they would have to enter under Reiter (and thats a german team) im Sure DAMS would not do that.; i dont think points is that important to them anways(Since they missed the 1st race anyways!)

BTW: Qualifying just wrapped up (session 1) and its a Konrad front row!!! my dream has come true!!!! (Lambo is 3rd lol)

Michaels site is reporting the R-GT lost its afternoon times in tech due to ride height infraction which is why it will start 5th.

A few years ago Reiter entered (with Kox in the car) a Lambo in Fia GT. That underdeveloped car was also quick in wet conditions.

true fire, but today's sessions were run in the dry so it seems as though the new lambo is pretty quick "out of the box"

I think this car is :
- terrific
- really welcome on the field
Just one thing : did it keep the black livery ? Or could we expect something else ?

apparently the krohn-barbour cars in the alms will have a silver based paintjob in the same fashion as past barbour cars... as for the dams car that is being run by reiter, i hope they give it the same treatment as past dams cars with the black base and motorola sponsorship

Hi there mates ! Facing the box, he ? Me too...

Could be cold tyres for the Murcielago... good looking for the car ; that's really to bad for the team to miss a part of the practice session, I think they need it...

The Ferrari #2 spun too, BTW...

Let's go on the main "Valencia race thread" for any comments...

This one remains for the Murcielago performances or comments... I think I'll merge this one with the "Dams" thread later...
