I'll also listen with interest to see how many quick drivers hit the rev limiter in Conrod this year and for how long!

Recent history seems to tell us that Ford are at good at winning Bathurst as Labor are at winning federal elections.

Personally, I'll be surprised if there are any Fords on the podium......but you never know, anything can happen.

Thanks BJAY, I don't suppose there are any sites that have live commentary, else I'm going to be relying on this thread for info & it being just after midnight UK time the chance of me staying awake are pretty slim.

BIgpond only show incar shots on raceday. (1 minute delayed too)
THey show full "tv coverage" on qualifying.
I asked them about it and the producer for bigpond said thats what channel 10 will allow.

First sfety car, walden au into the wall on top of the mountain.
Two incidents in the first stint, both involving steven richards car 11, no penalties to be handed down.
Kim jones not happy with decision.

Lowndes picks up 4 places and the lead up the mountain on the restart. Great car control on cold tyres. He has yet to pit unlike about half of the feild.

Sure was, all those cars in that bunch were sliding around, and the kid just kept in it and came out on top.

Lowndes just set fastest lap, from ambrose, richards, brad jones and canto.

05 with plato at the well hit the wall on pit straight, had to complete a full lap wth a flat front right to get back to the pits.
