A Simply Question
What is the difference between a Superkart and a Champkart? I believe Superkarts are for FIA leagues/events, but I have no clue was to what a Champkart is for.

RM40, a Superkart is a slightly larger kart with a 250 single or 2 cylinder, 2-stroke engine, or 400-450 4-stroke.
The Superkart and the Champ karts are 2 completely different animals. A Champ kart has a full cage. Go to our site and click on the Superkart column and Champ kart column to see photos - the the Superkart links are in the middle column, the Champ kart links are on the far right. At least, in the USA, that's what Champ kart means Tom Stephens www.kartfinder.com |

RM40, whoops, left out some information:
Champ karts are primarily run on dirt or asphalt oval tracks. Superkarts are run on asphalt only and are for going V-E-R-Y F-A-S-T!!! Well, they are supposed to stay on the asphalt Tom Last edited by yelodwg; 19 Mar 2003 at 16:44. |
